How do I create an account?

Download the Besties Closet app from the App Store and sign up using either Google Sign-in or Apple Sign-in. Follow the onboarding process to set up your profile.

How do I add friends?

Go to the Friends tab and tap "Add Friends". You can search for friends by name, invite contacts from your phone, or share your profile link.

How do I share items from my closet?

Tap on any item in your closet, then tap "Share" to make it available for friends to borrow. You can also set sharing preferences in your privacy settings.

How do I request to borrow an item?

Browse your friends' closets, tap on an item you want to borrow, then tap "Request to Borrow". Your friend will receive a notification and can approve or decline your request.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Privacy Settings → Account Management → Delete Account. Follow the confirmation steps to permanently delete your account and all data.

I'm having trouble with notifications

Check your device's notification settings for Besties Closet. You can also manage notification preferences within the app under Settings → Notifications.

How do I update my profile?

Go to your Profile tab and tap "Edit Profile" to update your information, bio, style preferences, and profile picture.

I can't find a friend who should be on the app

Make sure your friend has completed their profile setup. You can also ask them to check their privacy settings to ensure they're discoverable in search.
